Levi Giesbvecht

Levi Giesbvecht is an entrepenuer who makes a point that loving your buisness and loving your customer is essential to running your buisness.
Levi thinks that loving your customer and beleives any buisness should be the buisness of making people happy. Your customers should be kept happy with how they are treated so they will be a returning customer. He beleives Spa Utopia is very successful because people are treated nicely and feel happy when they leave.
Along with loving your customer, Levi beleives you have to love your buisness just as equally. If your employee are unhappy this will reflect on the customers being unhappy, and in turn not come back. But when employees are given good benefeits, and employee trips and such, even if another job pays better, they will stay and be happy because they know they are being treated well.
Love your job and oyur job will love you back.

1.Partner is a good choice
2. Make people look/feel good.
3. Find a way to be the best.

Martha Stuart

Martha Stuart is one of America's most successful woman entrepenuers ever. From early age she was seen as a model for other students, and had the image of the perfect life. This carried onto adult hood where she others look to her for advice, so she created a magazine.

The magazine was hugely successful and bought out, but that didn't stop Martha. Martha went on to create a television spot and be a sponsor for K-mart, she did a newsletter colum, and an evening radio show.

For homeowners she is an important role model. For entrepenuers, she is an even greater model.

Tina Seelig

Tina Seelig did a lecture for a class at Stanford on being an entrepreneur and looking for opportunities in problems. Here are two points she made that I found Important.

"Don't burn Bridges" - Tina believes that there are really only 50 substantial people in the world; the rest are just wallpaper. What she means is that, everywhere you go and anything you do, you will continually bump into people you know. These people will either help or hinder your experience and opportunity. What every person should do is make a great impression on every person you meet. Don't burn any bridges, because even enemies now could be value able for you in the future.

"You do the job, you get the job." - Tinas gave great advice for aspiring entrepreneurs. She advises that entrepreneurs don't wait for their position, but take it instead. In any work place, one should take lead and start doing the position that they want. start acting as a supervisor and a mentor even if you ain't one. As soon as someone see's your doing the job already, they will likely promote you.

Blog on a Blog - Jason Calacanis

Jason Calacanis was a blog I decided to look at today. Jason is an internet entrepenuer, starting up in 1976 a computer newsletter that has exploded into at 300 page annual report. He is nicknamed "yearbook editor of sillicon valley". Since he has started up and ran several buisnesses becominf CEO of Netscape and Weblogs inc, and starting up Mahalo, a people powered search engine.
Jason has a blog that would intrest many in his feild. Aside from his personal posting's of pictures of his dogs and his last nght dinner, he likes to give his insight's into everythng from politics, to the newest videogame releases. But what's of most interest is he likes to blog on state's of certain internet companys, and what they are doing right, and what they could work on fixing. It is an interesting read on a CEO's view on other competitive and non-competitive online websites and buisnesses.
